EDITORIAL APPROACH
Useful information. Clear limits.
The GlucoseTrack journal is published by Darkmaster’s Pottery, the developer of the app. Its purpose is to help readers keep useful everyday records and understand what their tools actually do.
What we cover
We write about food diaries, medication records, app features and device claims. A guide should leave you with a practical next step, such as a clearer meal note or a more complete medication list.
We do not provide diagnoses, treatment plans, dose calculations or individual glucose targets. A disclaimer cannot make an unsupported health claim reliable, so factual statements still need appropriate sources.
Where claims come from
For product behavior, we use the app’s implementation, official listing and policies. For device and general health information, we prefer primary sources such as manufacturers, public health agencies and published research. Article sources are listed alongside the text.
We distinguish measurement, estimates and manual records. We do not present a food-photo estimate as an exact result, or a watch displaying a reading as a watch measuring glucose.
Drafting and translation
We use AI-assisted drafting and translation tools. Product statements and sources are checked during preparation, and translations are reviewed for meaning, readability and consistency. These checks can still miss errors.
The journal does not claim independent clinical or medical review. We do not invent expert biographies or imply that a tool-assisted review is a clinician’s approval.
The app’s place in an article
Articles may show how GlucoseTrack helps with the task being discussed. That connection is commercial: the publisher makes the app. We identify Premium features and keep examples consistent with the product’s limits.
An article should remain useful even if you keep your records in a different app or on paper.
Updates and corrections
Publication dates show when an article became available. When the substance changes, we record an updated date; we do not refresh dates simply to make a page look new.
If something seems wrong, email us with the page link and the sentence or claim involved. A source or an explanation of the problem helps us investigate. Please do not include personal health records in a correction request.
